FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WOMEN ENCOURAGED TO ENTER THE WELSH ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARDS BY MOTIVATIONAL BUSINESSWOMAN

Cardiff, UK (October 3rd, 2015) – Red Shoe Biz AcademyMotivational business speaker Rebecca Jones regularly runs mastermind groups for entrepreneurial women in Wales. The aim of the group is to provide support and encouragement to local businesswomen in order to build stronger and more profitable businesses.

Rebecca Jones founded the Red Shoe Biz Academy in 2014 to support women in business and this year launched her mastermind groups as she had personally benefited from mastermind groups in her business.

The multiple business owner, motivational speaker and author wanted to reach more entrepreneurial women and share her two decades worth of business experience in order to help new businesses thrive.

Rebecca said: “I have been a business owner for over two decades and in that time I have learnt the real mechanics behind running a successful business. Everyone that has been to one of my sessions will tell you that I have a strong ‘no fluff here’ rule and will always give honest feedback and buckets full of common sense, support and encouragement.”

Now, Rebecca is started to see the results she was hoping for when she first set up the mastermind group. Not only are the group members businesses thriving but, the women are also beginning to act on the encouragement given by Rebecca and their fellow group members.

In fact, two members of the same mastermind group have put themselves forward for the Welsh Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards.

Rebecca continues: “Watching these women put themselves forward has been a very proud moment for me. Both women have stated that the encouragement and the mutual support of the group made them feel able to put themselves forward. This is exactly why I started the mastermind group and it’s great to see everyone’s hard work and support paying off.”

Mastermind member Lee Ann from Printed Chocolates has been nominated for the Food and Drink Entrepreneur of the Year award and Sarah from The Dance Den is up for Start Up Entrepreneur of the Year.

Lee ann said: “Having been in business, I found myself lost, with no direction or someone to “push” me. Having joined the Red Shoes Mastermind group, Rebecca and the other ladies (especially Sarah Gittins) have helped focus me, we have formed good relationships and I am more focused than ever.”

Sarah said: “Being part of Rebecca’s mastermind group has been so valuable. The advice, lessons learnt and clarity gained has pushed my business forward in leaps and bounds. Having that supportive network is incredible.”

The two women have supported each other throughout the entire process and are looking forward to the awards ceremony on 12th November at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Rebecca will also be in attendance, she has been asked to be on the judging panel for the Social Enterprise Entrepreneur of the Year award, Create Industries Entrepreneur of the Year award and the Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year award.
